High-Stress Girl

Dear Tim,

Now that our lives have slowed down here considerably, I have been trying to find my desk again in my office and today attacked all the refinance paperwork. As I've reflected back on that experience the last little while, I have felt absolutely awful for making life so incredibly difficult for you. As you know, I wasn't exactly in favor of refinancing, and I was (am) still not happy about our last mortgage company not being honest with us and our contractor who forced us to use them. Add to that probably the busiest six- week period we have experienced in our married life and it was all a bad combination for a high- stress girl like me. However, that in no way excuses my behavior or gives me a reason to not be the nice person I generally try to be. I am terribly sorry. I was so very wrong. One of those I wish I could have over. Thank you for "riding me out" and always being patient and pleasant and kind. You are one of the few people we have worked with in all our home building/financing/managing that we can sincerely recommend to others.

The Miracle

The Situation: A 40 year old victim of the telecom debacle, formerly making $100K a year, reduced to $55K. Chapter 7 followed soon. This, however, did nothing to solve the $2700 in mortgage debt due over two mortgages each month. What I needed was a way to consolidate mortgages to lower my monthly payments, in order to keep the lake home in which I had invested $100K in improvements, and perhaps eat from time to time.

The Problem: Not many lenders wish to touch anyone in this situation, even though they claim otherwise. Not even the scum of the lending industry, a.k.a. (for legal purposes we are not allowed to disclose the lender stated by the client). But try I did and after filling out all the appropriate forms, providing all the requested documentation, being told all alone I could be helped... and then being forgotten like yesterdays news - rarely with any notice that I was no longer considered a viable interest.

The MIRACLE: RYAN E. From our first conversation till the closing of the loan Ryan was on top of all aspects of the process. Another fun twist I'd like to mention was that the company that held my second note also went bankrupt 2 days before my new loan closed, introducing even more potential delays. One by one Ryan tackled each problem, kept me informed of progress, and knocked down each issue as it arose.

If I could extract each positive word from every dictionary in every language I would compile them, put them in book form, and publish a book called: RYAN E. RULES.

In Short: Ryan saved my financial life. Most people don't care... it's all about the bottom line for them: MONEY. Ryan cares about PEOPLE.

In Summary: Ryan is by far the finest mortgage broker I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. My mortgage dropped from $2700 to $2000. I can eat, have electricity, heat, and even a beer from time to time. Did I mention he also got me a better interest rate than either of my previous two mortgages? HE DID.

Dear Jason,

Thank you for all of your hard work and help. You worked very hard to help us with our financial problem and refinancing. I have had poor experiences with my prior refinancing and attempt to refinance in November of 2005. You were honest, forthright and extremely willing to go the extra mile to make this happen for my family. Due to becoming disabled as a Fire Paramedic and being forced to retire 7 years earlier than planned we suddenly found ourselves in deep financial problems, we had been able literally to stay afloat but finally had reached our breaking point.
